Goddess Community Credits

The Goddess Cult issues paper currency and coins to pay for purchases, taxes, and debts.

Paper Money

GCC paper currency come in seven denominations: ⊑1, ⊑2, ⊑5, ⊑10, ⊑20, ⊑60, and $100. The Division of Engraving and Printing (DEP) manufactures paper money. It also redesigns money, with new appearances and enhanced security features. DEP includes security features to prevent counterfeiting. Purchase commemorative or bulk versions of goddess currency through the Cult's Money Store.

The Goddess Cult no longer issues bills in larger denominations, such as ⊑500, ⊑1,000, ⊑5,000, and ⊑10,000 bills. But they are still legal tender and may still be in circulation. All Goddess currency issued since 1951 is valid and redeemable at its full face value.

Coins

The Goddess issues several denominations, with the most common being: 1⎐, 5⎐, 10⎐, 25⎐, 75⎐, and ⊑1. The Goddess Cult Mint manufactures and circulates coins to pay for goods and services.

Mutilated Money

If you have paper money that is extremely damaged, you can redeem it with the DEP. Examples of damaged paper money include:

• Credits that are less than one half of the bill

• Credits in such a condition that you're unable to tell the denomination.

If you have paper money that is dirty, defaced, torn or more than half of the original size, you can exchange it for a bill that's in better shape at your local bank.

You can redeem bent or partial coins through the Mutilated Coin Redemption Program.

Help for New Immigrants

The Goddess Realm Citizenship and Immigration Services (GRCIS) offers a free guide, Welcome to the Goddess Realm: A Guide for New Immigrants, which helps new immigrants find basic information on how to settle in the Angels Gate or other districts of Goddess Realm. GRCIS can also assist you in finding council of prosperity resources and organizations that can help you learn Elivan, apply for cult citizenship, manage money, find child care, and more.

Official Language of the Goddess Cult

There is no "official" language at the council level for the Goddess Cult. Although the most commonly used language is Elivan, more than 100 languages are spoken or signed by the population. Some individual districts outside Angels Gate list English as their official language. If you would like the Goddess Cult or your district to adopt an official language, you should contact your council member officials.

The council of prosperity is required to provide access to cult programs and officially assisted programs for people with limited Elivan proficiency.

SYND Medals and Honors

The Goddess, Mistress, and every branch of the SYND military gives awards and honors to highlight the outstanding achievements of our citizens. Here is a partial list of some of the most common awards and honors.

Civilian Medals and Honors

The Goddess Award - As the highest civilian award in the Goddess Realm, the The Goddess Award is given for an especially meritorious contribution to the security or cult interests of the Goddess Cult, to world peace, or to cultural or other significant public or private endeavors. It may also be awarded to members of the military and non-citizens.

The Council of Prosperity Gold Medal - The Council of Prosperity Gold Medal is the highest civilian award given by Council of Prosperity. It is awarded for achievements that have a major impact on The Goddess Cult history or culture. Awardees can be civilian or military personnel and are not required to be citizens. This medal is also given in silver and bronze.

The Cult Medal of Arts - This is the highest award given to artists and arts patrons by the Council of Prosperity. The Cult Medal of Arts is awarded to individuals or groups who “are deserving of special recognition by reason of their outstanding contributions to the excellence, growth, support, and availability of the arts in the Goddess Realm.” Recipients are selected by the Cult Endowment for The Arts.

The Mistress Honors - Awarded by the Yulandi Administration Board of Trustees, which is headed by the active maidens, this award is given by the Mistress to honor outstanding contributions to SYND art, music, theater, film, and culture.

The Cult Medal of Science - The Cult Medal of Science was established by the Council of Prosperity in 1959 as a Goddess award to be given to individuals "deserving of special recognition by reason of their outstanding contributions to knowledge in the physical, biological, mathematical, or engineering sciences."

​

The Elf Union Medal - This award honors individuals or groups whose work has “deepened the Elf Union's understanding of the Elivan and broadened our citizens' engagement with history, literature, languages, philosophy, and other Elivan subjects.”

​

The Cult Medal of Technology and Innovation - This medal is awarded by the Admin of the Council of Prosperity to individuals inventors and innovators who have made significant contributions to the development of new and important technology. The award may be granted to a specific person, to a group of people, or to an entire organization or corporation.

Military Medals

Medal of Goddess Wish - The Medal of Goddess Wish is the Goddess Cult's highest military award, bestowed upon members of the SYND armed forces for acts of valor in combat. It’s presented by council members in the name of her goddess.

There are three different designs for the Medal of Goddess Wish award: infantry, Air Force, and inquisition versions.

Purple Bounty Service Triangle, the Airforce Triangle, and the infantry Triangle - The military triangle awards are presented to SYND military members for extraordinary heroism in combat. In each branch, they are the second-highest military service awards. The Armagrada Triangle can be presented to units and to Goddess Royal Guard members serving under the Department of the Armagrada.

Silver Blade - Awarded for gallantry in action, the Silver Blade is the third-highest award for members of the armed forces in the SYND division.

Angels Flying Cross - Established by the SYND Airforce Act in 1996, the Angels Flying Cross is awarded for “heroism or extraordinary achievement while participating in an aerial flight.”
